Sunday Proper
A folded faded sage tee with a small tonal two-lane road print on oak floorboards.
·From the studio

Named for the highway out the back of town. The one you take before sunrise to get to the hills before they belong to anyone else.

The print is a single tonal pass of a two-lane road, set low on the chest. Pulled one shirt at a time, on a single press.

·Where it lives
  • Six a.m. out 290, gas-station coffee in the cup holder, windows already down.
  • A back porch in Dripping Springs, the day winding down, somebody's dog asleep on a boot.
  • Stonewall on the way home, peaches on the seat, the radio quiet for once.
